Paraschiva Florescu

Member of Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and General Naturopathic Council (GNC)

Paraschiva is a fully qualified nutritional therapist graduating with distinction from the College of Naturopathic Medicine.

She adopts a comprehensive, whole health approach, going to the root cause of the symptoms and taking into account each individual’s unique genetic makeup as well as the environmental and lifestyle factors.

After a consultation, the client receives a thorough plan with dietary, lifestyle and supplement suggestions individualised for them and their body’s needs. Paraschiva strongly believes in empowering her clients to be creators in their own health and educates them on understanding the foods that heal and harm, how to regulate the nervous system, what are the environmental threats to health and how to create an inner and outer ecosystem that suppoxs health and healing. She is confident that the body always wants to heal and will heal given the right environment.

In more complex cases, Paraschiva uses Autonomic Response Testing (A.R.T) a highly accurate diagnostic method developed by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt PhD which assesses the response of the autonomic nervous system to diñerent stressors and can be also used to detect allergies, food intolerances, loss of coherence in the body and energetic blockages.

Paraschiva is a student of Dr Klinghardt and the Klinghardt Institute and is regularly refining and improving her knowledge and skills in this field.

Where required, Paraschiva uses functional testing (such as full blood count, stool and microbiome testing, hair mineral analysis, DUTCH hormone panels etc) and provides interpretation of the results and protocols based on any imbalances or deficiencies found.

Furthermore, Paraschiva’s practice is trauma-informed as she is a student of Somatic Experiencing (SE) with Somatic Experiencing International. SE is a body-oriented approach developed by Dr Peter Levine for resolving trauma and releasing stored traumatic energy. The SE approach releases traumatic shock and restores connection, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma.

The integration of somatics, nutrition and A.R.T results in a holistic, all encompassing treatment that acknowledges the complexity of each individual, as well as the interconnection between body, mind and nature/ environment.
